Best place we stayed in! Kari-Lise and Kurt are extremely friendly and welcoming and helpful. The animals are beautiful and our son could go and pet them all. The house is very comfortable and it has all you need. Best place for your holiday if you wish to be in a peaceful and cosy place.

Everything was absolutely fantastic — the cabin, the animals, and the hospitality! A perfect place for children, incredibly cozy and well thought out. There is truly nothing missing, and it is also close to many great activities for children in the area. We had an absolutely wonderful experience and would love to come back!

Stunning location, quirky little house, gave us an amazing autumnal weekend in south Norway visiting some family connections in the local maritime museum.

We have been to Kari-Lise for the 2nd time. In the intervening 6 years, much has improved in the accommodation. The farm is very nice to stay in. The many animals, the lake and canoes ensure that there is plenty to do on the premises. The area is very beautiful, and Kari-Lise really gives the special welcome feeling as if you were at home.

It was just fantastically beautiful at Kari-Lise's. We were only there for three days, but it felt like we had two weeks of vacation! Kari-Lise and her farm radiate incredible joy and hospitality.

Beautiful farm that we fell in love with! The host Kari-Lise was very service-minded, pleasant and sociable. Took us on a tour of the farm and among the animals. Had made the bed for our daughter with children's bed linen, which made us feel extra welcome and seen. We also woke up to coffee on the stairs — absolutely fantastic. We will for sure be back.

We had 3 amazing days here and enjoyed ourselves, both with close contact with the animals and with the beautiful surroundings. Fantastic summer weather — wonderful to swim, paddle canoe and SUP. In the evening, we barbecued on the nice outdoor area by the water and played games at sunset. The hammocks became a favorite place to relax with a book.

Kari-Lise's accommodation is wonderful. She is a great hostess. We would come back anytime!

Small farmhouse by the water. Kari-Lise is very welcoming and so are her animals. We loved taking a ride in her canoe, petting the animals and strolling on the pontoons of the boats in the charming village of Gjeving with its beautiful view of the islands just across. We recommend this little haven of peace!
